Hopeless

I woke up today, as any other working day at 6:30 and switched on the TV to see what was happening in the Pak-NZ Second Test. Seemed all-right with Pakistan 30-0, considering that the match started only half hour ago.
Only at 7 am, I switched on the TV again and the GEO headline say "NZ ka toss jeet ker pehley batting ka faisla". Now that bamboozled me; and all I could guess was that NZ have been bold out in the first half hour of the match. With this excitement I switched my PC on to confirm the dramatic events on Cricinfo; not to be. All was "well" except that Geo was way too stupid.

Reminded me of an old joke:

Boy: 5 ants walking in a row. The middle one says; there are 3 ants ahead of me and 3 behind me. How is that possible?
Girl: Thats tough. Don't know.
Boy: It not. The answer is: "The ant in the middle is bad at mathematics".

These guys are bad at what is their profession.

Cheers,

ZAK

Sizzling World!

For all those guys who intend to visit an exotic place and want to know the temperatures at their destinations; please do not watch Indus News.

Indus News, for quiet a few days now, is telling the world that Karachi is averaging 80 degree Celsius, Lahore some 60 Celsius.... even New York is 50 degree C. [Probably they want to say Fahrenheit]

Its about time they [all TV channels of Pakistan - who by the way are not as bad as some others found in South Asia, particularly India] must get rid of the taxi drivers they hired as political anchors, analysts, ticker managers and weather gurus.

Vienna is in France !!!!

For those who think they are good at geography, think again !!!!

Geo TV announced many times today :

"France ke shehr Vienna mein, sikhhon ke gurdwarey per hamla; 10 afrad zakhmi"
(Sikh Gurdwara attacked in French city of Vienna, 10 injured)

Apparently, Geo TV is adamantly sticking to all the Karachi taxi drivers it hired (and probably still hiring) as its news reporters. Whats even more disturbing is that it refuses to train them. :D

NADAL faces WILLIAMS

As I write this post, in tennis grand slams women and men have never competed each other in singles.
But guess what, GEO TV has made it possible. They are organizing a match between Rafael NADAL and Venus WILLIAMS, and guess where, In the AUSTRALIAN OPEN :D
